Handles all aspects of customer service associated with the movement of freight. Requires excellent organizational skills while working with many moving and changing customer needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
High school education or equivalent and five years progressive work experience including 1-3 year's customer service; or a four year degree plus one year customer service experience. Business degree preferred.
Ability to communicate with departments, customers and vendors using multiple resources ie phone and email
Ability to calculate freight rates and amounts such percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Work within teams and individually to determine resources to meet and exceed company and customer expectations.
Intermediate user of MS Office products. Works in an office environment with occasional need to work in and around a warehouse. Some occasional lifting may be required, up to 50 pounds.
