Sells and markets Lynden's services to existing and prospective businesses with emphasis on domestic and international revenue and market share growth by performing the following duties:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Minimum of 1 years’ experience selling Freight Forwarding services (Domestic and International Air, Ocean) Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four year College or University a plus; or one to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. High School/GED diploma required.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret tariffs, general business periodicals, professional journals and manuals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to calculate and apply concepts such as dimensionalized weight, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Familiar with word processing, spreadsheets, and data base programs.
Must be able to travel to customer's locations locally and fly for overnight trips.
Candidate needs to be a team player, have great work ethic and be results oriented.
